1、 Overview
The sample embedding machine is used to embed samples that are not suitable in shape or size in order to meet the subsequent sample preparation steps and obtain the required detection plane; Or to protect edges or prevent surface defects caused by the preparation process. In modern metallographic laboratories, widely used semi-automatic or automatic grinding/polishing machines have specification requirements for sample size. In order to meet this requirement, it is necessary to embed the sample. Therefore, embedding machines have become one of the necessary equipment in metallographic laboratories.
This machine is a fully automatic metallographic specimen embedding machine with the function of inlet and outlet water cooling. It is suitable for thermal embedding of all materials (thermosetting and thermoplastic). After setting the embedding parameters such as heating temperature, insulation time, and force, the specimen and embedding material are placed, covered with a press cap, and the work button is pressed to automatically complete the embedding work without the need for operators to be on duty beside the machine. Four different specifications of molds can be selected and replaced according to different requirements of samples, and two samples can also be pressed simultaneously, doubling the preparation capacity.
