The CM-2500c adds a 45/0 optical system to the highly acclaimed CM-2600d/2500d due to its convenient portability and high accuracy, making it identical to the CM-2600d/2500d series in terms of operability, accuracy, and ease of use.
The new model has all the hardware and software functions recommended for use or required by standards to use a 45/0 optical system for various applications. Its application scope includes plastic and fabric parts of automotive interiors, solid-state spraying, roll coating, high visibility clothing, printing and packaging, and other fields.
The CM-2500c is lightweight and easy to operate in most situations. One notable feature of it is its large display screen, which completely eliminates the numerous operation buttons on previous instruments. This model is equipped with only two buttons: a unique "navigation wheel" (easy to navigate through the operation menu, just like a computer mouse) and a measurement button to perform measurements.
Innovative optical systems
The goal of CM-2500c optical design is to achieve higher actual measurement reproducibility and stability. In addition, the design also strives to reduce repeated measurement errors when measuring colors multiple times and improve accuracy.
Compared to traditional systems, the circular light source created by the hybrid box (with a built-in hemisphere) and the illumination slit lamp can achieve more uniform illumination and an improved 45/0 optical system. An additional collimator can provide highly parallel illumination/receiving light (achieving uniform illumination in the area). A larger sample contact area can achieve tight and stable contact, ensuring easier measurement of curved samples such as automotive parts or soft objects.
Compared with the previous 45/0 optical system spectrophotometer, this precision optical system significantly improves the repeatability of measuring any surface, eliminates measurement direction limitations, and reduces the impact of measurement position, instrument rotation, sample position, sample tilt, and other factors on measurement results. This greatly improves the measurement stability.
Lightweight body and simple operation
The CM-2500c adopts an ergonomic design and weighs only 670g (excluding batteries), making it particularly suitable for any application in laboratory and field measurements.
