In many outdoor environments, materials can be damp for up to 12 hours per day. Research has shown that the main factor causing outdoor humidity is dew, not rainwater. QUV simulates outdoor moisture erosion through its unique condensation function. In the condensation cycle, water vapor is generated by heating the bottom water tray of the testing machine. The hot water vapor maintains 100% relative humidity in the test chamber at higher temperatures. In the design of QUV, the sample actually forms the sidewall of the test chamber, and the back of the sample is exposed to the indoor air in the laboratory. The cooling effect of indoor air causes the surface temperature of the sample to be several degrees lower than the temperature of water vapor, ensuring that water vapor will continuously condense on the surface of the sample. This type of condensate is very stable and pure distilled water.
Water spray
Under certain practical application conditions, such as sunlight, when the accumulated heat rapidly dissipates due to sudden showers, the temperature of the material will undergo a sharp change, resulting in thermal shock, which is a test for many materials. The water spray of QUV can simulate thermal shock and/or stress corrosion.

Ultraviolet light is the main factor causing photodegradation of outdoor products. QUV fluorescent lamps can simulate the most important shortwave ultraviolet light in sunlight, reproducing the aging of material physical properties caused by light exposure. UVA-340 lamp tube The UVA-340 lamp tube can simulate shortwave ultraviolet light in sunlight excellently, ranging from 365 nanometers to 295 nanometers at the solar cutoff point.
UVB-313 lamp tube The short wave ultraviolet light emitted by UVB-313 tubes is stronger than the sun's ultraviolet light that typically shines on the surface of the Earth, thereby accelerating material aging to the greatest extent possible. However, the lamp tube may cause unrealistic damage to certain materials. UVB-313 lamps are mainly used for quality control and research and development, or for testing materials with strong weather resistance.
